Dr. Kim Beaucage

BSc, DDS, PhD, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry Western University

Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Dr Kim Beaucage completed her Honours Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Biology undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo. She went on to pursue graduate studies at Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario), where she completed a PhD in Physiology with a Specialization in Musculoskeletal Health Research specifically focused on diseases of bone and metabolism. Dr Beaucage was selected for enrollment in the Schulich Dental Clinician-Scientist (DCS) program – a unique program consisting of a PhD in an area of research relevant to dentistry followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Western University. During her DDS, Dr Beaucage participated in the Dentistry Summer Research Program to remain involved with research focused on arthritis and osteoporosis related diseases.

Dr Beaucage’s work has been recognized with numerous scholarships and awards, has contributed to funding of research grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and The Arthritis Society, and has been published in top-tier peer-reviewed scientific journals within her field. She has been invited to present her work nationally and internationally. Most recently, Dr Beaucage was awarded the Quintessence Research Award of Distinction for exemplary research in an undergraduate dental program, and the Quintessence Award in Restorative Dentistry for excellence in the clinical aspects of Operative Dentistry from Western University.

In her time at Western, Dr Beaucage co-created and was co-chancellor of a dental research group for students as well as a research group for musculoskeletal health research trainees. She enjoyed volunteering in community outreach programs such as Dental Outreach Community Service (DOCS), DOCS Kids and Sharing Smiles Day, programs that teach children and adults, as well as persons with special needs how to attain good oral hygiene, as well as providing dental care to those in need.

In her spare time, Dr Beaucage enjoys travel, fitness, outdoor activities such as hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She continues to be active in dental-related research, and has a passion for teaching. Dr Beaucage has taught dental students at Western University since 2018, as she holds appointments as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in Dentistry, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Physiology.

Dr Beaucage – or Dr Kim as she’s better known to her patients – is delighted to provide dental care at Riverfront Dental in Cambridge. Recently, the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has recognized Dr Beaucage by featuring her in an article that tells the story of her return to Waterloo Region found here. A scientist at heart, she strongly believes in keeping up-to-date with the latest scientific literature in the field, practicing scientific evidence-based dentistry and continuing to be a life-long learner. Dr Kim truly loves to help her patients smile with confidence, while providing a calm and relaxing environment. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral health, contributing to their total health and well-being.

Dr. Satinder Kalher

BSc, DDS, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry Western Ontario

Dr. Kalher grew up in Ontario, graduating with a Biochemistry Specialization from Queen’s University before heading to the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University for her DDS. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Vancouver, where she provided care for patients with complex medical histories, patients with special needs, and emergency dental care (she has sworn off riding scooters!). She is certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation, a nice option for anyone who needs a little extra help relaxing in the chair.

After some time out west, Dr. Kalher is glad to be back closer to home and happy to be serving the Kitchener community. Dr. Kalher is a firm believer in patient autonomy, that oral health is a key player in overall health, and in evidence-based dentistry. Her approach is simple: keep patients informed, keep things calm, and never leave someone guessing about their own care.

Outside of dentistry, you will find Dr. Kalher gardening, baking, reading, and hanging out with her family and friends. She enjoys weekly trivia, and if you come with a fun fact, she’d love to hear it!

Julia graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a degree in Nutrition in 2021, where she developed a strong appreciation for the connection between overall health and oral wellness. She went on to pursue her passion for preventive care by completing her Dental Hygiene diploma in 2024, graduating with honours. Her educational background allows her to take a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the important role that nutrition, lifestyle, and oral hygiene play in maintaining long-term health.

As a dental hygienist, Julia is deeply committed to making a positive difference in her patients’ lives. She strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment and believes that trust, education, and open communication are essential to helping patients feel confident in their oral health. Julia takes pride in providing thorough, gentle care while empowering patients with the knowledge they need to achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

Outside of the clinic, Julia enjoys staying active through yoga and Pilates, which reflect her passion for wellness and balance. In her free time, she also loves spending time with her two golden retrievers, Hudson and Elsa, who keep her busy and bring plenty of joy to her life. Julia’s warm personality, dedication to patient care, and commitment to overall wellness make her a valued member of the dental team.

Bri is a caring and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventive care and patient education. She takes a gentle, patient-focused approach and strives to create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Bri believes that building trust and helping patients feel at ease is just as important as providing excellent clinical care.Bri graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2025 and previously earned a Biochemistry degree from the University of Guelph in 2023. Outside of the clinic, Bri enjoys reading in her spare time and values maintaining a balanced, mindful lifestyle.

Rosa Rodrigues-Zaharie, Clinical Manager

Rosa has over 26 years of experience in the dental industry, she graduated from Niagara College with her level 2 certification in Dental Assisting. Her bubbly personality and ability to put patients at ease are part of what makes Rosa such a valuable asset to our dental family. In her free time, you can find her relaxing with her 2 boys.
